Christopher Brown – was born in London and studied Graphic Design at Middlesex University before attending the Royal College of Art in London. Christopher was introduced to, and eventually assisted, Edward Bawden, the master of the linocut print. It was Bawden who encouraged him to explore this medium, one which Christopher is now famed for. In 2012 Merrell Books published ‘An Alphabet of London’ and today, he is currently working on ‘An Alphabet of England’ – some of which will be on show as part of our own exhibition ‘A is for Art.’
