Chloe Cheese – is an illustrator, artist and printmaker, whose work focuses often on everyday objects, observed in situ and paired back to their most simple form. She was born in London, to artist parent Sheila Robinson and Bernard Cheese and was brought up in Great Bardfield, Essex, home also, to celebrated figures Edward Bawden, Michael Rothenstein and others. Chloe studied art at Cambridge Art School (1969-1972) and then at the Royal College of Art (1972-1976). Her work has been show in many exhibition, in the UK and abroad and her work is held in many public collections such as the V&A, and the Arts Council of Great Britain. Chloe is patron of the Association of illustrators and has illustrated several books. She is also a trustee of the Curwen Print Study Centre near Cambridge.
