Charlotte is a Bath-based artist and MA graduate of Central St Martins School of Art. Since 2005 she has worked as a successful Freelance Designer producing many iconic projects for local, national and international clients including Elle, Air France, Clinique, Superdrug, Waitrose and Tatler to name a few.
Most recently she has gone back to her printmaking fine art roots and is producing a range of limited edition silkscreen prints as time permits!
Charlottes work is always fun, light hearted and imbued with her wonnderful sense of humour. Her work is a combination of low-tech printing methods; small, intense detail contrasted with mistakes, imperfections and gestural mark-making alongside bold, often neon colouring, gold leaf and embossing.
Charlotte graduated in 2006 with an MA in communication design from Central St Martins and has been working as freelance illustrator ever since, combining this with making screen prints at Spike Print Studio, Bristol. She has a cupboard bursting with carbon paper which she uses to create the detailed drawings that either become the stencils for her screen prints or the starting point of illustrations.
